Pediatric Occupational Therapy !
My name is Anna Czesak
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, I provide services in English and in French to children aged from 2 to 21 years of age. My Clinic is located in Pitt Meadows, and I offer support to all families located in the Greater Vancouver Area.
I am happy to work with any child or teenager facing challenges in their activities of daily living, regardless of diagnosis. I can offer therapy to children with: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, learning disabilities, anxiety disorders, and more. My approach is very client-centered, which means that I tailor my interventions to meet the families and the children's needs and interests, making sure that everyone's voice is heard. My ultimate goal is to highlight your child's strengths, empower them and help them build a path towards a meaningful life, one step at a time.

What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?
Every child participates in a variety of occupations throughout the day. These occupations, or activities of daily living (ADLs) as we may call them, interact directly with one's personal abilities, motivation, interests and beliefs, as well as with the environment they are performed in.
Pediatric occupational therapists are experts in assessing those three areas of life - furthermore, they use their knowledge in task analysis to determine the factors that impact a child's daily function. A care plan is therefore implemented to support children in developing autonomy in the occupations that are meaningful to them, building confidence along the way to reach their personal goals.
